Our Story

After a decade and a half of executive search and recruiting for great clients, Jim Owens realized the hiring process was missing something. There had to be an answer that helped both the Client and the Job Seeker, all the while improving the hiring process.

JobFormance was created to engage client companies in recruiting and search, outplacement, and candidate vetting with the JobFit Report.

Jim created the JobFit Report to answer the tougher, deeper questions about the person. Who are they beyond their resume? The JobFit Report includes a self-narrative questionnaire, a reference check, and a Job Fit assessment. These tools help the candidate to better articulate who they are to their potential employer.

The results: A rich profile of who the candidate is that provides a better understanding to both the candidate and the client. It eliminates the adage: “hired for credentials and fired for culture”.
